Freight Forwarding – Ocean & Air

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year - depending on experience

Profile

We are looking for a smart, reliable, and personable all‑rounder to join our freight forwarding business in a key role covering both sales and operations knowledge. This person will work closely with the owner to help run the office and manage day‑to‑day freight forwarding activity, with the opportunity to grow into a Senior Leadership role. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can think independently, keep things moving, and help run the business alongside the owner.

Responsibilities

• Seek sales opportunities with new and existing clients in ocean and air; freight operations knowledge is advantageous.
• Communicate with customers, agents, carriers, and airlines.
• Support sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Help improve office processes and solve issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding sales and operations in ocean and air.
• Strong operations and customer service skills.
• Sales ability or a commercial mindset.
• Highly organized, intelligent, and proactive.
• Good communication skills and a likable, professional approach.
• Comfortable working in a small business environment.
