- Passion for Tesla, automotive, or emergency vehicle industry and upfitting
- 4+ years hands‑on experience in a dealer‑level, OEM, or low voltage installation environment
- ASE or EVT certification is preferred but not required
- Installation and retrofit of enhanced aftermarket and OEM Tesla components.
- Installation of emergency equipment, including Sirens, partitions, prisoner seats, car audio and video systems, computer equipment, etc.
- Installation of Low Voltage power systems to power emergency equipment using high standards and specifications outline for emergency vehicles
- Maintain extreme attention to detail, and high safety standards indicative of law enforcement and public safety vehicle installation
- Organize workspace daily to maintain an efficient, and clean workflow
- Liaison with management and fleet project management to ensure appropriate configuration SOP is followed
- Proactively update the Fleet team with active updates on vehicle work progress with internal communication tools
- Work with the service manager to ensure schedule cadence on the service schedule and hours/time expectations are maintained properly
- Coordinate with the Fleet team to resolve any warranty or development concerns
- Document progress of workflow electronically, including data entry and photo/video capture to catalog all work being performed, including documenting applicable damage
- Facilitate high‑level signoff of any vehicle worked on to ensure we have performed 100% of our desired task within the exact standards required
- Experience working on Tesla’s Preferred but not required
- Experience installing 12V, Audio Visual Equipment or Car Stereo Equipment
- Familiarity with Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installation preferred
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems ( Tesla preferred )
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends and events as needed
- Ability to work well under a high‑pressure or demanding environment
- Valid CA Driver’s license
- Hourly pay commensurate with experience
