Job DescriptionAuto Glass Technicians replace broken or pitted windshields and window glass in motor vehicles.
Principle Functions And Responsibilities- Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
- Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service for customers.
- Completes and turns in required paperwork to the appropriate person or location.
- Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
- May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
- Loads glass in the truck as required.
- Immediately follows up with the Glass Manager on any problems that arise during installation.
- Maintains high levels of quality control.
- Provides excellence in customer service.
- Ensures that all needed equipment is operating properly.
- Immediately reports any accident or incident to the Glass Manager.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintains a good rapport with all supervisors and co‑workers.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 4-6 years of related work experience required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand for long periods during installation.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Must be able to use hands efficiently for handling glass.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and the skill to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
- Must complete a background check/MVR and drug screening process.

Compensation DetailsHourly range is $25–$32 per hour depending on skills and experience.
