Monday, Thursday: 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Tuesday: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
Friday: 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Hourly Rate:
$15.92 / hour

- Assist with planning and delivering a variety of programs and activities for children, tweens, and teens
- Prepare program materials, supplies, displays, and activity spaces; assist with setup and cleanup before and after programs.
- Support the development of creative, age-appropriate programming that reflects the interests and needs of the community.
- Running reports and using them to evaluate, inventory, and weed the collection
- Promote library programs and services through displays, flyers, social media, the library website, and other outreach efforts.
- Assist with developing and maintaining attractive, current, and engaging youth collections and displays.
- Assist with outreach activities and partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other youth-serving agencies
- Working and monitoring the children’s circulation desk
- Assisting children, young adults, and caregivers with reader’s advisory and general reference questions.
- Collecting and reporting on fines and fees
- Shelving materials, shelf reading, printing a pick list and retrieving requested materials.
- Ensure consistently tidy facilities; includes ensuring chairs are pushed in, shelves are neat, materials are displayed in special book stands, tables are clean, etc.
- Working with written or verbal instructions
- Assist with room setup and breakdown, as required
- Assist with programming on an as needed basis
- Other opportunities as assigned by the Supervisor or Director
Must have experience and be comfortable with working with groups of children. Must be friendly and personable and be flexible in availability. Computer knowledge is a must.
