We are looking for an experienced Millwright to support our esteemed client, Marine Transport Services. Your key role will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems through effective repairs and maintenance. You will conduct diagnostics and provide technical guidance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair shipyard mechanical systems and equipment

• Conduct precision alignment of propulsion shafts and bearings

• Perform preventative maintenance on marine machinery

• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement repair solutions

• Provide mentorship to apprentices and junior technicians

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Millwright certification required

• Proficient in mechanical systems and hydraulic knowledge

• Strong diagnostic skills with a problem-solving focus

• Ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals

• Experience in shipyard or marine operations preferred
