Horizon Maritime Northern Services Ltd. needs an experienced Millwright in the Northwest Territories to enhance shipyard operations. This role focuses on mechanical systems maintenance and repair for Marine Transport Services.

As a valued team member, you will manage installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Your role is vital in ensuring efficient and safe operations within the shipyard. You will work independently and bring a commitment to compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair key shipyard mechanical systems

• Troubleshoot and align rotating equipment effectively

• Conduct preventative maintenance on heavy equipment

• Maintain accurate logs of repairs and installations

• Comply with safety regulations and environmental policies

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Millwright certification required

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge

• Proficient in diagnosing and solving mechanical failures

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals

• Prior experience in shipyard settings is advantageous
