Fiber Technician - $5000 Sign-on [3325

Grid Source is seeking Fiber Technicians in Hayden, to join our team!

Technician must have a reliable truck, van or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and 28' ladder (with ladder rack preferred).

• Perform Residential Fiber installations
• Observe all safety rules and regulations
• Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested
• Convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers
• Accountability and dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and on call as needed)
• Ask relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions
• Assume all other duties as assigned

• Truck, van or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and a 28' ladder (ladder rack preferred)
• Comfortable working at heights no greater than 25'
• Must be able to safely move and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must have own tools (drills and standard telecommunications hand tools), an Android smartphone, and a Windows 10 laptop
• Must wear leather boots above the ankle with a minimum 1/2" non-slip heel (other equipment may be required by local management)
• Must work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends and holidays
• Must pass background check and drug test
