Position Summary
Locate and deliver product parts to/from storage and work stations;
Assist in maintaining inventory levels;
Maintains a safe working environment; contributes to team effort
- Maintains production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies to/from storage and work stations; identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining inventory; documents materials and supplies by recording units delivered and location of units; verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
- Maintains a safe working environment by attending safety training; turning off and locking out equipment not in use; cleaning and maintaining a clean work area. Adhering to ISO and FDA regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Handles all other duties as assigned in order to contribute to overall success of the company.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions to read work orders in order to determine work assignments or materials or equipment needs
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 66% of day.
- Ability to become qualified to perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; 0-2 years experience
