Class 8 Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic

• Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Western Star) engines, aftertreatment, transmissions, drive lines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Perform PM services, DOT inspections, and major component overhauls.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using OEM software.
• Keep detailed service records and work efficiently to get trucks back on the road fast.

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing Class 8 diesel trucks (heavy‑duty over‑the‑road or vocational).
• Strong knowledge of modern emissions systems (DEF, DPF, SCR), electronic diagnostics, and common‑rail fuel systems.
• Own basic hand and power tools (specialty tools provided).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Clean safety record and strong work ethic.
• Heavy Duty certifications, manufacturer training, or willingness to earn them.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tight‑knit team.
