Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills.
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Telephone skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintain current TB testing as required by Health Department regulations (after employment offer is made).
Essential Functions:
- Prepare high quality brochures to advertise upcoming events at the Learning Center activities.
- Maintain the Calendar of Events for the Learning Center.
- Schedule room rentals, check out keys for rentals, and facilitate the billing for building rental.
- Maintain billing for workshop attendance and graduate credit.
- Coordinate and direct efficient operation of incoming calls, and take detailed messages in order to maintain communication with the Learning Center staff.
- Keep apprised of district rules, regulations and policies to ensure that the proper information is being communicated to the public.
- Greet visitors, ascertains nature of business, and conduct visitor to appropriate areas in order to promote public relations.
- Perform mail preparation, handling and distribution for the purpose of ensuring that the community is properly notified.
- Operate office equipment and machines for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Learning Center.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment and machines for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Learning Center.
- Assist the Director of the Learning Center as needed for the purpose of enhancing the district's mission.
- Communicate and work effectively and cooperatively with staff members of the school district and community to ensure a coherent work environment.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in communications of any kind to maintain a professional work environment.
- Maintain Learning Center inventory; manage requisitions; monitor supplies; issue requests for maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Learning Center.
- Occasionally assist with training room set ups.
- School year hours are from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Summer hours are 10-hour work-days with Fridays off.

Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as needed in a fast-pace, high-intensive work environment.
