Job Summary

A growing international food manufacturing organization is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for a bilingual accounting professional who enjoys leading daily accounting operations, improving processes, and supporting financial reporting for both U.S. and Japanese stakeholders.

The Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with leadership across accounting, operations, supply chain, and executive teams. • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll support, and close activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Coordinate financial reporting, analysis, and communication with Japanese headquarters or international stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Maintain and improve accounting controls, procedures, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Support external audits, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and accounting team development.
