Accounts Payable Specialist

Our team is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice. This role supports client projects and interim staffing needs while providing continuity and the option to re-engage talent for future needs. You will handle daily accounts payable/receivable tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure vendors are paid on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reviewing invoices for proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Preparing and assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire payments.
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving invoice, purchase order, and payment discrepancies.
• Maintaining vendor records, including W-9s, payment instructions, and account updates.
• Responding to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Supporting month-end close by preparing AP accruals, reconciliations, and related reports.
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives, audit support, and special accounting projects as needed.
• Adapting quickly to new client environments, systems, and workflows while maintaining high service levels.
