PLEASE NOTE:

The starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $4,367.00 per month (Step
1) to $5,430.00 per month (Step 12).

About the Position

The Grants Coordinator provides administrative and project coordination support for complex initiatives related to transfer pathway development and implementation. The incumbent independently manages a broad range of moderate to complex responsibilities, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with university policies and established guidelines.

The position is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables and timelines, compiling and analyzing information, maintaining official documentation, and facilitating communication among diverse stakeholders. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in prioritizing assignments, interpreting policies and procedures, resolving administrative issues, and recommending process improvements to support operational effectiveness.

Serving as a central point of coordination, the Grants Coordinator collaborates with campus partners
-including Facilities, academic departments, and Academic Affairs offices - and engages external stakeholders as appropriate to support advising initiatives and transfer pathway publishing. The role requires strong organizational skills, analytical ability, discretion, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

This position is grant-fuinded, temporary through December 31, 2026, with the possibility of reappointment.

Responsibilities Project Coordination and Administrative Support
  • Coordinate with campus departments and units to implement campus activities and campus wide initiatives. Support planning, scheduling, and execution of events and activities by coordinating with partners such as Accounts Payable, campus catering, Facilities, and supply vendors. Align timelines, manage logistics, and facilitate communication across stakeholders to support successful delivery.
  • Gather and compile information to support institutional operations and initiatives. Maintain and update online resources such as webpages, portals, and tools for faculty, staff, students, and campus partners. Update program and initiative related information as directed.
  • Provide administrative support requiring judgment and discretion, including coordination of communications with campus affiliates and leadership. Support travel authorizations and reimbursements, procurement and accounting coordination for office and project needs, meeting and event logistics, and compliance related coordination with Facilities as needed.
