Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, submitting complete bid packages, and supporting contract negotiations for construction projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and submit comprehensive bid packages within required deadlines
• Ensure all required bid documentation is complete and compliant
• Review project specifications and evaluate requirements such as hiring goals, participation targets, material grades, and approved manufacturers
• Communicate effectively with contractors, project stakeholders, and internal teams
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs as required
• Support negotiation of contract pricing and terms
• Maintain organized project documentation and bid records

• Positive attitude with strong individual and team-oriented work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience in the structural steel and miscellaneous metals industry
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow professionally
• Industry knowledge and technical understanding of construction processes

• Full-time position
• Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
