Job SummaryThe Service Advisor is the key link between customers and the service department. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding service, accurately documenting concerns, recommending appropriate repairs, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and technicians. This role is essential in providing a professional, trustworthy experience in a tire and automotive service environment.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and document vehicle concerns accurately
- Prepare service estimates and explain recommended repairs clearly
- Promote tires, service packages, and special offers
- Communicate effectively with technicians for timely, accurate service
- Obtain customer authorization for repairs and service changes
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Coordinate vehicle pickup/drop-off and transportation
- Handle invoices, payments, warranties, and service documentation
- Maintain a clean, professional service area
- Resolve or elevate customer concerns promptly
- Sales Ability:
Proven record of upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs - Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Experience in an automotive dealership or service center
- Basic knowledge of tires and automotive systems
- High school diploma or GED (post-secondary in automotive or business preferred)
- 1–3 years of customer service or service advisor experience (tire/auto industry ideal)
- Positive energy and professional appearance
- Integrity and transparency in all sales interactions
- Calm and resilient under pressure
- Team player who collaborates with technicians and advisors
- Fast-paced tire and auto repair shop
- Indoor front-desk role with occasional trips to shop or parking lot
- Weekends or extended hours may be required
