Membership Sales Associate

Overview

The Opener – Team Member Position is the go‑to for customer service and energy, and the key element for this position is the club experience. You will make sure the gym is open on time and happy to service our customers. Every shift you will ensure every member is checked in, the club is organized, and you will assist customers (guests) with joining the gym, help current members with membership issues, and display a “happy to help” attitude when members and guests have questions or concerns.

You will also team up with the Club Manager to provide excellent service and maintain the cleanest gym.

Schedule: Part‑time position. Shifts available from 4:45 am to 10 am.

• Connect with customers through the CRM, provide tours of the gym to potential members, and present all membership and personal training options.
• Work as a team to reach club goals in various joining metrics and learn how to become an effective salesperson – professional, encouraging, and eager to guide our customers to a healthier lifestyle.
• Take new memberships to exceed and capitalize on monthly goals and KPIs.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• A passion for health and fitness.
• Effective communication in person and over the phone.
• Optimistic and outgoing.
• Very organized.
• Good listening skills.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.

• Light lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
• Standing for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work a varied schedule to support the Fitness 19 team.
• Support Service Specialist Team when needed.
