Teacher Aide​/Support Staff

Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Part‑Time to Full‑Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Hayward for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full‑time Aide who can work as part of a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that support our children's development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those who love working with children and helping their community. Join our team of dedicated teaching and support staff. This position will start part‑time from 8:30am – 1:00pm, and eventually expand to full time 8:30am – 5:30pm.

• Experience working with special needs children
• Bilingual preferred (but not required)

• 1 year minimum experience working with children aged 0-5 years old
• CPR
• A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units is preferred, but enrollment can also be started after completing the required units
• Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos

Salary: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
