ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

FULL-TIME TENURE-TRACK

• Teach undergraduate courses in criminal justice ethics, theories of crime, research methods, criminal law and the courts, victimology, restorative justice, and related subjects.
• Advise undergraduate students and serve on departmental and campus‑wide committees.
• Participate in scholarly research, publish and present findings at professional conferences.
• Contribute to university service and represent the department at external events.

• Earned or expected doctoral degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a closely related field (ABD status considered if completed by appointment date).
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring, research, or community service that supports a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
• Record of scholarly activity, including peer‑reviewed publications and conference presentations.
• Commitment to the university’s mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
