Envision Education seeks a Student Support Lead to build strong relationships with students and families while leading attendance, restorative practices, student interventions, and school wide support systems that promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment at Impact Academy High School.

Position Summary

The Student Support Lead will partner with school staff to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. This role provides direct student support through attendance and engagement initiatives, Tier II and Tier III interventions, restorative practices, behavior support, family partnership, and coordination of MTSS and Student Success Team (SST) processes. As a visible and trusted presence on campus, the Student Support Lead works collaboratively with students, families, and staff to remove barriers to learning, promote positive student outcomes, and contribute to a strong school culture.

Key Responsibilities Student Interventions & Support
  • Provide direct support to students requiring Tier II and Tier III behavioral, social-emotional, and attendance interventions.
  • Build positive relationships with students and serve as a trusted adult and mentor.
  • Develop and monitor individualized student support plans in collaboration with school staff.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with identified students and track progress toward intervention goals.
  • Connect students and families with school and community resources as needed.
Attendance & Student Engagement
  • Monitor daily attendance and identify students with chronic absenteeism or attendance concerns.
  • Partner with families to improve student attendance through proactive outreach, goal setting, and problem-solving.
  • Conduct attendance conferences and coordinate interventions for students at risk of chronic absenteeism.
  • Support initiatives that promote student engagement, belonging, and positive school culture.
Restorative Practices
  • Facilitate restorative conversations, mediation, and re-entry meetings following student conflicts or disciplinary incidents.
  • Support implementation of restorative practices that strengthen relationships and repair harm.
  • Coach students in conflict resolution, self-regulation, and accountability.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment.
Student Behavior Support
  • Respond to student behavior concerns using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Assist in de-escalating challenging situations while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Document student incidents and maintain accurate intervention records.
  • Collaborate with administrators and teachers to implement behavior support plans.
  • Reinforce school-wide expectations and positive behavior systems.
Family Partnership
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families to support student success.
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding attendance, behavior, and intervention plans.
  • Facilitate family meetings to develop shared strategies for student growth.
  • Connect families to school and community resources that support student well-being.
MTSS & SST Coordination
  • Coordinate Student Success Team (SST) meetings, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with counselors, teachers, administrators, and special education staff to ensure coordinated student supports.
  • Monitor intervention data and help determine next steps for students requiring additional services.
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress monitoring within the school's MTSS framework.
