Salary Range: $5,540.00 per month to $7,893.00 per month. PLEASE
NOTE:
The starting salary placement depends on qualification sand experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $5,540.00per month to $6,716.00 per month.

Manage federal SEVIS reporting requirements on behalf of CSUEB(i.e. communication with the Department of Homeland Security aboutthe F-1 students admitted to and attending CSUEB). Assistinternational students (F-1) to understand the complex nature ofthe legal status in the U.S. vis‑‑‑?? Development and implementation of on-going services such as orientation,immigration workshops, and other non-immigration focused programs.
Serve as a liaison for CIE and provide customer service. Assistance with international recruitment efforts, as needed.
F-1 Student Advising
- Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for F-1 studentprogram.
- Provide student-centered guidance and advice to internationalstudents in person, via phone, online, and other modes.
- Review and process F-1 related student requests that include but not limited to employment, program extensions, travel signatures, reduced course loads, health insurance and more.
- Ensure up to date, clear, and accurate information on all materials, print, digital, and website related to F-1 requests
- Monitor and track updates via NAFSA, the CSU ISSS, and othernetworks.
- Review and update student request processes and work with appropriate departments, such as IT, to resolve any tech related issues.
- Track, meet, and follow SEVIS reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate F-1 student SEVIS records in all systems inuse and ensure accurate digital/physical records.
- Provide follow-up with F-1 students approaching key dates and deadlines.
- Communicate with SEVIS Help Desk to correct data errors.
- Support Recertification and other DSO related requests.
- Oversee and ensure compliance of F-1 insurance coverage and benefits for F-1 and J-1 students in Center for International Education.
- Maintain database for international students and ensure accuracy of student lists.
- Ensure accurate information across all student communicationplatforms (online, messages, print, etc.).
- Troubleshoot health insurance related issues from paymentcollection to internal setups.
- Coordinate and present international student health insurance requirements to students and include key stakeholders.
- Support other international student service initiativesdeveloped by CIE.
- Support and review the accurate collection of required documents for initial I-20 issuance and provide guidance onpre-arrival materials and communication.
- Support the analysis of current immigration statuses anddocumentary needs.
- Communicate with International Admissions, Global Academy, andother parties on topics related to the issuance of legal documents and our document collection.
- Advise Visiting Student Program on immigration, academics, andother topics.
- Assist with recruitment of international students. Includecampus personnel and other departments as necessary.
- Create and submit reports to the Director as needed.
- Support new initiatives.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of the principles of individual and groupbehavior.
- General knowledge of the principles, practices and trends ofthe Student Services field as well as general knowledge of the policies, procedures and practices of the program area to whichassigned.
