Description

ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Center Project Manager, you will serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. You will oversee project oversight, review of all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, control, and architectural. You will identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams and organizations. Your scope of projects will include but not be limited to improving electrical, mechanical, fire detection and building automation systems.
You will prioritize activities to support data center capacity availability and safety, focusing on actions that are most impactful. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of construction or project management experience
- 5+ years managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space (e.g., manufacturing, mass transportation, oil & gas, utility, hospitals)
- 5+ years in on‑site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
