This role is critical to Veev's mission of transforming the construction industry with modern, sustainable, and efficient construction techniques. In this role, you will directly contribute to the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of modern home construction by working on developing digital design and delivery within the design environment and design systems of the company. Your work will have a tangible impact on Veev’s ability to scale operations and drive industry-wide change.

As the Manager, BIM, you will lead the team responsible for Veev’s BIM systems, standards, Revit content, model quality, and digital building model environment. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, product development, manufacturing, and construction execution.

You will manage the BIM Systems and BIM Design specialists, ensuring Veev’s BIM environment is structured, consistent, scalable, and aligned with downstream needs. This includes ownership of BIM standards, templates, Revit families, model structure, QA/QC processes, knowledge management, and workflows that connect BIM to PLM, MCAD, fabrication, assembly, and field installation.

This is a hands‑on technical management role. The right person should be able to guide the team, make practical technical decisions, and build the BIM operating model needed to support a productized construction environment.

• Manage the BIM team, including BIM Systems and BIM Design specialists.
• Set priorities, assign work, manage capacity, and ensure the team is focused on the highest‑impact business needs.
• Coach and develop BIM team members while holding a clear bar for quality, ownership, and execution.
• Create a clear intake, prioritization, review, and release process for BIM work.
• Balance tactical delivery with longer‑term improvements to BIM standards, assets, and workflows.

• Own BIM standards, Revit templates, model structure, naming conventions, parameters, and modeling methodologies.
• Establish and maintain governance for BIM content, model health, family quality, and standards compliance.
• Ensure consistent adoption of BIM standards across relevant internal teams.
• Create practical QA/QC processes for BIM models, families, data structures, and documentation outputs.
• Drive model quality so BIM outputs are accurate, coordinated, buildable, and usable by downstream teams.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of Revit families, assemblies, templates, and reusable BIM content.
• Ensure BIM content reflects product intent, engineering requirements, manufacturing constraints, and field constructability.
• Partner with the BIM Design Specialist to ensure models are not only complete, but production‑ready and practical.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base for BIM assets, modeling standards, workflows, and team practices.

• Partner with the BIM Systems Specialist to define and maintain the structure of Veev’s BIM environment.
• Ensure BIM data and model structures support PLM, MCAD, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and field workflows.
• Work with PLM, MCAD, Software, Engineering Production, Manufacturing, and Construction teams to close gaps between design intent and execution.
• Support BIM‑to‑CAD, BIM‑to‑CAM, and BIM‑to‑manufacturing process development where needed.
