Responsibilities- Develop end-to-end quality strategies for robot manufacturing, from subassemblies to full systems
- Conduct PFMEA to identify failure modes and enhance test coverage and process robustness
- Work with test and firmware engineers to integrate quality checks into manufacturing workflows
Analyze test data to monitor station yields and identify root causes of failures - Collaborate with design teams to implement quality improvements at both component and system levels
- Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) to establish optimized pass/fail limits and improve test accuracy
- Evaluate test station performance and scalability across different production sites
- Document quality plans, testing procedures, and data-driven corrective actions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in electromechanical hardware testing in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with PCBA testing, IMU calibration, actuator and sensor validation, or end-of-line system testing
- Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Gage R&R, and statistical data analysis
- Experience working with test hardware (e.g. power supplies, CAN tools, actuators) in production environments
- Self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in technical documentation and cross-functional communication
- Nice to have: experience with autonomous or humanoid robotic systems; exposure to scalable test systems across multiple manufacturing sites; background in startup or fast-paced hardware development environments
- Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000
