As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the supply chain and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Hayward, CA
Pay Range: $90-$100/hour + Benefits
- Assess the manufacturability of new product designs in collaboration with Vehicle Systems Engineering.
- Conduct detailed supplier process assessments and audits to select suitable manufacturing partners.
- Review technical design elements with suppliers, including CAD models and prints, to ensure design for manufacturability.
- Lead the Supplier Industrialization Roadmap, including product and process development activities at supplier sites.
- Manage qualification activities for tooling, fixturing, and production equipment to meet project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing within automotive, aviation, or medical device industries.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and quality systems improvement.
- Proficiency in problem-solving techniques such as Six Sigma, Pareto Charts, and DOE.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like Injection Molding, stamping, and electromechanical assemblies.
