AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep our customers’ innovation running.

The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activity within operational data center spaces. The Data Center Project Manager serves as a technical resource accountable for project oversight and review across electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines, identifying improvement opportunities, and deploying innovative solutions to address operational challenges.

• Provide project oversight and review of all disciplines, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
• Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams and organizations.
• Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to improve electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.
• Coordinate, implement, execute, control, and complete specific projects, ensuring consistency with safety and quality standards.
• Prioritize activities to support data center capacity availability and safety, focusing on high-impact actions.

• 5+ years of construction or project management experience.
• 5+ years experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space (e.g., manufacturing, mass transportation, oil and gas, utility, hospitals).
• 5+ years in on‑site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general). Vendor management experience required.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
