Speech Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school in San Francisco, CA, with a contract through June 3, 2026. This role is ideal for certified professionals with experience in school-based speech therapy, specifically for Pre‑K intake assessments. Candidates must hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) and possess or be eligible for a Clear/Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Please note that Clinical Fellows will not be considered for this role.

• Conduct Pre‑K intake speech and language assessments
• Provide FMLA coverage for an existing SLP at the assigned elementary school for the duration of the contract
• Deliver on‑site speech pathology services in compliance with district guidelines
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student needs

• Current California Speech Language Pathologist license (DCA)
• Clear/Professional Speech Services Credential from CTC preferred but not mandatory
• Strong background in early childhood (Pre‑K) speech assessment
• Bilingual and/or ASL fluency preferred to better serve the diverse student population
• Previous experience working within a school setting highly desired
