Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

Overview

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team in Alameda County. In this role, you'll provide in-home physical therapy visits to patients in their homes, working closely with a supervising Physical Therapist and a supportive local clinical team. • Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
• Document visits in Well Sky/Kinnser in a timely manner
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Active California PTA license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes around Alameda County
• Home healthcare experience
• Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)

• $65-85/visit + $30/hour for training
• Mileage reimbursement

• $500 signing bonus for full-time PTA, paid as:
  • $100 after completion of your first patient visit
  • $400 after 90 days of active employment, contingent on meeting role expectations and performance standards
