IT Support Specialist –Temp-to-Hire
Location:
Hayward, CA Pay: $28–$30/hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8: 00 AM–5: 00 PM Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for employees within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on position supporting computer hardware, software, user accounts, network connectivity, and general IT troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Set up computers, user accounts, email, and access for new employees
- Install, configure, and maintain software and computer equipment
- Assist with password resets, permissions, and general user support
- Support printers, scanners, phones, and other peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot basic network and Wi‑Fi issues
- Maintain IT equipment and documentation
- Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
- Provide friendly, responsive support to employees across the organization
- Previous experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar role
- Strong Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and common office technology
- Basic understanding of networking, user accounts, and system permissions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge
Position Details This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $28–$30/hour, based on experience. The position is onsite in Hayward, CA, working Monday through Friday from 8: 00 AM–5: 00 PM.
