This position will have a designated home campus within Cal State East Bay.

Reporting to and with minimal supervision from the Senior Director of ERP Applications and Business Intelligence, the Lead CRM Software Developer provides technical leadership for the development, deployment, and optimization of customer relationship management (CRM) applications across California State University East Bay (CSUEB), San Francisco State University (SFSU), Sonoma State University (SSU), and their auxiliaries.
The position leads a team of developers and application administrators, oversees all project phases from requirements to deployment, ensures code quality and compliance, and supports integration with other enterprise systems. The lead collaborates with campus partners and stakeholders to maximize CRM strategic value.
Responsibilities- Provides technical leadership and champions continuous improvement and modernization of CRM platforms across the Network universities.
- Coordinates cross-functional development efforts to support the successful completion of complex and high-impact CRM features and initiatives.
- Leads the CRM software development team in designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling complex CRM applications and solutions.
- Leads production support, including incident triage, root cause analysis, escalation coordination, technical troubleshooting, and post-incident remediation to ensure system stability and service continuity.
- Evaluates complex technical requirements and provides expert technical guidance and recommendations regarding application design, priority features, integrations, development approaches, and technical enhancements.
- Leads and oversees code reviews, testing, and implementation of new releases and ensures development activities are consistent with applicable technical standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Consults with business analysts, product owners, technical teams, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
