Revolutionary Actuary, Claims Analytics

What to Expect

We are seeking a Revolutionary Actuary for Tesla Insurance with Personal Line Auto experience. The Actuary will be responsible for claims analytics in support of the reserving function. They partner with other claims management, actuaries, and other business leaders to assess the impact of process changes and identify trends and areas of opportunity for improvement.

• Support the claim department in their day-to-day claim activities, as an analytical resource to monitor claim handling and process effectiveness
• Develop analytical tools to help business effectively manage claims
• Support reserving studies

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in personal lines reserving
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Python and/or SQL
• Works well both independently and as part of a team
• Responsive to service needs and operational demands
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Expected Compensation

$100,000 - $204,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
