Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Materials Coordinator to support material planning, inventory control, and production operations. This hybrid role combines computer-based materials coordination using Net Suite with physical warehouse responsibilities, including kitting, material staging, receiving, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate has experience working with ERP/MRP systems, inventory, materials, and production support and is equally comfortable analyzing material requirements at a computer and working hands‑on in the warehouse to ensure production teams have the materials they need.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze Net Suite MRP and demand-planning data to identify material requirements and help prevent production shortages.
  • Monitor inventory levels and determine replenishment needs based on production requirements.
  • Place purchase and replenishment orders for required materials and components.
  • Track supplier deliveries and follow up on lead times, shortages, and delivery issues.
  • Accurately pull, organize, and kit raw materials and components according to Net Suite work orders.
  • Stage materials and completed kits to support production and assembly schedules.
  • Record inventory movements, stock receipts, material issues, and kit completions in Net Suite in real time

  • Maintain accurate system inventory and investigate discrepancies between physical and system quantities.
  • Receive incoming freight and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Organize materials and maintain accurate warehouse storage locations.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate material requirements with production, purchasing, warehouse personnel, and suppliers.
  • Proactively identify potential shortages and communicate issues before they impact production.
  • Support the efficient flow of materials from receiving through production.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and materials documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Perform additional materials, inventory, and production-support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in materials coordination, inventory control, materials planning, supply chain, warehouse operations, or production support preferred
    .
  • Experience working with an ERP or MRP system required
    ;
    Net Suite experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of material requirements, inventory replenishment, and production support processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with kitting, material staging, receiving, and inventory control preferred.
  • Experience processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers or vendors preferred.
  • Ability to accurately process work orders, purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory transactions.
  • Strong computer and data‑entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on inventory and system accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate inventory and material discrepancies.
  • Ability to identify potential material shortages and prioritize requirements based on production needs.
  • Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams.
  • Ability to balance computer‑based materials planning with hands‑on warehouse responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
