Position: 2nd shift Production Operator opening in Hayward

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Pad Printing Operator to join a client in Hayward for their 2nd shift. This can be a temp to hire position. Hours are Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Pay Rate is $19.10/hour plus 10% differential ($21.01/hour).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate various printing equipment, including pad printing, screen printing, and inkjet machines.
  • Complete all required production documentation, such as job followers, process sheets, and product identification forms.
  • Accurately enter production data using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Maintain quality standards across all work orders in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Set up and print single-color and spot print jobs.
  • Use provided tools to measure print locations accurately.
  • Track and record progress of work orders through production stages.
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned during the course of employment.
Education and Training Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, customer‑focused mindset.
  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Previous cleanroom experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift and move items up with occasional bending, twisting, and turning.
  • Comfortable working around paint and ink fumes.
  • Must stay alert to avoid safety hazards and respond to visual and auditory cues.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and follow written instructions and diagrams in English.
  • Willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment with strict procedural and attire requirements.
