Position: Senior Sheet Metal Programmer (Aerospace & Defense)

What You’ll Do:
  • Program Amada punch, laser, and combo machines using AP100US
    or Dr. Abe to create accurate, shop-ready programs.
  • Create and maintain programs for Amada and Mazak lasers and Omax waterjets across prototype and complex builds.
  • Produce controlled shop drawings and manage engineering documentation per department standards.
  • Partner closely with Production to improve programs, tooling, and manufacturing methods, troubleshooting shop-floor issues.
  • Design, develop, and manage punch tooling while supporting cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
  • 3 plus years of sheet metal programming experience with AP100US
    or equivalent tools such as Striker, Omax, AutoCAD, or Hexagon.
  • Strong Solid Works skills including flat pattern inspection, tab and key creation, and production drawing generation.
  • Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes including punching, forming, welding, machining, and assembly.
  • Proven ability to problem solve in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and willingness to challenge inefficient processes constructively.
