** Position Summary*
* Join our team as a
** Laboratory Technician I** , where you'll play a key role in supporting quality control and laboratory operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is meticulous, safety-minded, and eager to contribute to a collaborative workplace.
You will be responsible for routine laboratory testing, sample preparation, equipment operation, and data entry-ensuring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. This position works closely with engineers, production personnel, and quality teams to uphold product quality and continually improve processes.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Laboratory Testing** - Perform routine analyses to support manufacturing and ensure product quality.

** Sample Preparation** - Weigh, dry, and prepare samples according to established procedures.
+
** Equipment Operation** - Operate laboratory instruments (pH meters, balances, GC, HPLC, etc.) and perform instrument calibration and basic troubleshooting.
+
** Data Management** - Accurately record data and observations in laboratory systems.
+
** Safety** - Execute all tasks safely while complying with environmental and quality requirements.

** Housekeeping** - Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
+
** Inventory** - Track and replenish laboratory supplies and consumables.
+
** Communication & Collaboration** - Report abnormal results and work closely with Quality Coordinators, engineers, and team leads.

** Continuous Improvement** - Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
+
** Adaptability** - Support cross-functional teams and adapt to changing operational needs.

* Required:
*
* + High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
+ Basic computer literacy (email, data entry).
+ Ability to follow written procedures and standard practices.
** Preferred:*
* + Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Technology, or a related STEM field.
+ Prior laboratory or technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
+ Knowledge of SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability.
** Physical & Safety Requirements:*
* + Stand or walk for extended periods.
+ Regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
+ Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and twisting.
+ Safely operate lab instruments (training provided).
+ Required attire: lab coat, long pants, closed-toe shoes.
+ Steel-toe shoes required in process/warehouse areas.
+ Must wear site-issued PPE and comply with all safety policies.
** Additional Information:*
* + No driving required in this role.
+ In-person interviews will be conducted at the job site.

* Work Schedule:
*
* + 12-hour rotating shifts:
+ Day
Shift: 5:50 AM - 5:50 PM
+ Night
Shift: 5:50 PM - 5:50 AM
+ Four days on, four days off; alternate between day and night shifts every two weeks.
+ Flexibility required for vacation and call-off coverage, plus operational and training needs.
** Example Rotation:*

** Weeks 1-2:
** Four consecutive day shifts, four days off (repeat cycle).

** Weeks 3-4:
** Four consecutive night shifts, four days off (repeat cycle).
** Training Program:*
* + Approximately 6 weeks.
+ Consists of 12-hour shifts on both day and night schedules.
+ Rotations with designated trainers until training is complete.
+ Covers lab procedures, equipment operation, safety, documentation, SAP, and quality systems.
