Company Overview

WASH provides laundry services across the U.S. and Canada and is looking for a Production Technician to help manufacture refurbished washers, dryers, and subassemblies.

Estimated Salary

US $18.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Disassemble machines and test mechanical and electrical components.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and repair mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, pumps, valves, and control systems.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and test results, per company procedures.
  • Coordinate assembly of product subassemblies or final assemblies.
  • Test products or subassemblies for functionality and quality.
  • Transfer hazardous or non-hazardous waste materials to collection areas for disposal, recycling, or reuse.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and performance of production systems.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or GED (desirable).
  • 3+ years of mechanical experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, safety rules, memos, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
  • Knowledge of hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, drill motors, pneumatics).
  • Commitment to high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork.
  • Physical ability to lift 50lb regularly and to move 200lb or more with a dolly/hand truck occasionally.
