Production Technician

Our client, a leading electrical manufacturing organization, is seeking a US-Hayward-Production Technician to join their team. As a US-Hayward-Production Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting electrical assembly and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Assemble panel boards and switchboards according to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with specifications and codes.
• Perform electrical wiring assembly utilizing various tools such as wire strippers and pliers.
• Maintain workflow progress, communicate issues like part shortages or problems to team members.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Minimum of one year of experience in an assembly-related role with the use of hand and/or power tools or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and work overtime as required.
• Effective communication skills in all formats (speech, writing, reading).
• Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and instructions accurately.
