Overview

Registered Nurse - General Medical:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a general medical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient safety.

You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and their families.

• Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and completely in the electronic health record.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous experience in a general medical setting.
• Certification in a relevant nursing specialty.

• Proficient in medication administration.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and IV insertion.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
