As an Infection Preventionist (IP LPN LVN), you will develop, direct, and monitor the facility’s infection prevention and control program and ensure compliance. You will make rounds of nursing units, review environmental sanitation procedures, analyze infectious disease lab reports, and consult with the Director of Nursing. You will prepare summaries of all resident/staff infections, corrective actions taken, and results for submission.

You’ll meet with staff, residents, and family members to explain precautions and ensure appropriate hand‑hygiene techniques are followed.

• Must have an unencumbered LVN/LPN license in the state.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.
• Infection control experience.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
• Experience with Point Click Care .
