Job Title:Laboratory Technician
Ultimate Staffing, a Roth Staffing Company, is seeking a Lab Technician to join a client in Hayward in the nutrition and supplements industry. This is a temporary, onsite position lasting approximately 1 month, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform weight variation testing on tablets and capsules to ensure consistency and quality standards.
- Measure and document diameter variations in tablets and capsules.
- Calibrate and verify pH meters; perform pH measurements on samples.
- Conduct daily calibration and maintenance of analytical balances.
- Determine percent moisture content in raw materials and finished products.
- Test and record viscosity levels according to SOPs.
- Measure specific gravity of samples as required.
- Perform fill volume analysis on product units.
- Conduct disintegration and dissolution testing of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Utilize Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) for material identification and quality verification.
- Assist with general lab support tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Prior lab work experience in an academic or professional setting.
