Pay Rate: $25-30/hour

Overview:
In this role, you will perform chemical and physical tests on materials and products, record and report results, and maintain lab equipment in support of daily quality control.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, standard working hours

• Perform chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using specialized laboratory equipment such as balances, ovens, spectrophotometers, fluorometers, calipers, viscometers, pH meters, and furnaces.
• Analyze nutritional and physical properties of products, including purity, stability, weight, hardness, and dissolution to ensure conformance to specifications and regulatory standards.
• Prepare, standardize, and maintain laboratory solutions for chemical analysis and process validation.
• Accurately document, record, and report test results in standardized forms, laboratory logs, and detailed test reports.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and lab safety requirements.
• Follow all chemical hygiene, safety protocols, and company guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment and ensure quality control across all testing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• 1+ years of professional lab experience; quality control or food/pharmaceutical testing preferred.
