Sales Associate; Budtender

Sales Associate (Budtender) – Hayward, CA

$17/hr + Tips ($25–$27/hr avg total compensation)

Garden of Eden is hiring FT and PT Sales Associates (Bud tenders) for our Hayward location. This is a consultative sales + retail operations role in a fast-paced, compliant cannabis environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a consultative, education-driven sales experience
• Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
• Execute compliant POS transactions (cash handling required)
• Follow all cannabis compliance regulations
• Restock and replenish inventory on the sales floor
• Process incoming inventory, including barcode labeling and organization
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks
• Maintain product knowledge and support daily store operations

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years old
• Must be able to pass Live Scan background check and meet all state cannabis employment requirements
• Retail or customer service experience
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and willingness to support both sales floor and operational tasks

Preferred:

• Cannabis dispensary experience
• Treez POS experience
• Open and flexible availability (weekends, mornings, evenings, holidays)
