Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated sales professional who achieves business goals and delivers exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is accountable, initiative‑driven, and committed to meeting sales goals while building strong customer relationships. Success in sales extends beyond performance objectives to building trust, delivering value, and developing lasting relationships.

Compensation

Starting Pay Range: $115,000 – $160,000 (including salary and bonus potential). A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.

Job Tasks
  • Drive revenue growth by promoting and selling SEW‑EURODRIVE Heavy Industry Gearing products and solutions within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing and prospective customers, distributors, OEMs, and end users to grow business opportunities.
  • Provide technical sales support and product expertise by recommending solutions, conducting product training, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.
  • Develop, qualify, and manage sales opportunities by identifying new business, implementing sales strategies, and using CRM to manage customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct face‑to‑face customer visits, attend meetings, trade shows, and training while representing SEW‑EURODRIVE professionally.
Qualifications
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Rocky Mountain Territory, which includes Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Idaho, and Utah (Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City areas are preferred).
  • Must have experience with and/or knowledge of gear reducers and electric motors.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of variable frequency drives and motion controllers is a bonus.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record or be able to transport yourself to various locations.
  • Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have strong mathematical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to travel and frequently visit customers.
