UCT is looking for a talented Sr. Director, Sales to join us in Hayward, CA
!
The Sr. Director, Sales is responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategy, development of sales pipeline and sales execution of targeted key semiconductor equipment manufacturer accounts in US. You will leverage internal resources within the Account Sales, Operations and Engineering team to develop comprehensive business development and commercial solutions to position UCT as the preferred supplier to the key accounts based in US.
Activities include but are not limited to providing stewardship to Key Account Manager, gathering voice of customer feedback, fostering teamwork and the support/development of complete proposal packages, value proposition creation, alliance development/pricing, contract coordination and negotiation with decision-maker.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Development
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve UCT goals and objectives
- Manage the entire sales process cycle from lead generation to closure
- Analyze market trends, competitor intelligence & activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats
- Sales revenue and GM$ target responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key US clients and business partners
- Understand client requirements and provide solutions tailored to their specific needs especially at the upstream of customer new product developments
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Work directly with the key personnel within UCT co-workers to develop quick response to issues and coordinate feedback and corrective actions to the customer in the event of issues
- Uphold the company's reputation and values in all sales interactions
UCT Product Knowledge
- Develop a deep understanding of the UCT's domain capabilities and services
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements related to semiconductor equipment requirements
Sales Process Management & Forecasting
- Work closely with other departments (such as Account Operations and SCM) to support the sales process
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for the senior management team
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights for decision-making
- Ensure sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards
Market Expansion
- Work closely on Business Development to develop new customer base
- Identify and explore expanded business opportunities and market segments within key accounts
- Move higher value add through co-engineering creation with key accounts
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the account to expand the UCT's reach and presence
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Tertiary Degree preferably in Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
Experience Requirement:
- >10 years of semiconductor and/or microelectronics industry experience with a strong emphasis in business development and customer management
- Proven experience in semiconductor equipment sales, preferably in a leadership role
- Preferably with added experience in contract manufacturing domain
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong team player
Travel Requirement
:
- Frequent face time for US based accounts
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis outside of US.
