Job Summary

The Water Damage Technician assists team members by providing skilled and unskilled labor while learning mitigation techniques and receiving training required to perform professional mitigation and disaster response services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform water mitigation inspections as assigned.
  • Able to respond to emergencies within one hour.
  • Show up on time for shifts, in proper uniform and well‑groomed.
  • Be available for on‑call and emergencies.
  • Learn and practice commitment to customer service.
  • Fill out paperwork properly (Timesheets, PO Forms, Field Check‑list).
  • Exercise good judgment and understand and carry out written or oral instructions, with sound problem‑solving ability.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in water damage restoration and mitigation.
  • Certification in water damage restoration (IICRC WRT certification required; other IICRC certifications highly favorable).
  • Proficiency in using MICA (Mobile Integrated Claims Application) or other job documentation software for moisture mapping, drying logs, and reporting.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration equipment and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding and sometimes adverse conditions.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Compensation: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
