The Master Plumber is a full-time, on-site role based in Hayward, CA, responsible for leading and performing advanced plumbing work on residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing and maintaining piping systems, water heaters, and fixtures, and overseeing sewer line inspections and repairs. The role involves supervising junior plumbers and apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely, to code, and in line with company quality standards.

The Master Plumber will provide clear, courteous customer service, prepare accurate job estimates, maintain documentation, and coordinate with dispatch and office staff to ensure timely project completion. The role also includes mentoring team members, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement of processes and service offerings.

• Candidates should possess strong core plumbing skills, including advanced Plumbing knowledge and experience with Pipe installation, repair, and system design.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair abilities, including routine Maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive service on residential and commercial systems.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, answer questions, and provide professional, respectful service in diverse client settings.
• Valid Plumber license (or equivalent CA state certification) and thorough knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Proven experience leading plumbing crews, training apprentices, and managing multiple jobs with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams; strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Comfort working in various environments, including crawl spaces, roofs, and outdoor conditions; ability to lift and handle plumbing materials and equipment as required.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation; willingness to participate in rotating on-call or emergency service schedules.
