We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inbound Transportation Analyst to support inbound logistics operations in a production manufacturing environment. This role focuses on transportation data analysis, planning support, shipment visibility, and supplier readiness, while also supporting ad‑hoc transportation needs as required.
This Inbound Transportation Analyst will partner closely with Inventory Planners, Suppliers, and Logistics partners to ensure transportation plans are executable, data is accurate and complete, and shipments are tracked effectively through SAP Transportation Management (TM). This role also supports customs compliance activities and serves as a backup for import and export shipments.
TravelUp to 25% may be required (including international travel).
In This Role, You Will- Collect and interpret data on KPIs, freight spend, and lane performance to drive planning, prioritization, and capacity alignment.
- Maintain accurate shipment data in SAP Transportation Management (TM) and monitor in‑transit shipments to ensure end‑to‑end visibility and mitigate delivery risks.
- Collaborate with Inventory Planners and suppliers to align transportation plans with material availability, production schedules, and build priorities.
- Support import/export compliance activities, including documentation review and collaboration with customs brokers to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Support the planning and execution of ad‑hoc inbound and outbound shipments while serving as a backup for general import/export operations.
- Identify data gaps and process inefficiencies to assist in developing dashboards and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality and planning effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in transportation analytics or logistics planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM) or similar systems, including shipment lifecycle management and data integrity.
- Strong ability to interpret complex transportation data, model freight spend, and translate metrics into actionable insights for decision‑making.
- Experience with import/export processes and customs compliance, including working with freight forwarders and brokers.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Experience building dashboards or automated reports using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms, and familiarity with SAP S/4
HANA. - Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience specifically supporting production or manufacturing planning teams.
$130,000 - $152,000 a year
Base Salary RangeThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign‑on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
