CLASS A DRIVER

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable Class A Drivers for a direct hire opportunity based in Hayward, CA. This role involves making daily local deliveries of finished aluminum products that have been cut to size, serving customers in the same general delivery area each day. This is a great opportunity for experienced commercial drivers who want a steady Monday through Friday schedule, consistent routes, and a stable work environment.

Drivers will be part of a dependable logistics and delivery team where safety, professionalism, and customer service are highly valued.

• Deliver finished aluminum products to customers using Class A flatbed or stake bed trucks.
• Operate safely on local routes while completing daily deliveries in the assigned area.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and DOT compliant.
• Secure loads properly and handle aluminium products with care during transport.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and internal team members.
• Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety and service standards.

• Pay: $27 per hour.
• Annual compensation: $56,160 per year.
• Potential pay up to $28 per hour for candidates with strong flatbed experience and stable work history.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or until all deliveries are complete.
• Occasional overtime may be required depending on the daily delivery load.

• Make daily local deliveries of finished aluminum products.
• Operate Class A delivery trucks, including flatbed or stake bed equipment.
• Complete vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
• Maintain safe, accurate, and professional delivery practices.
• Valid Class A driver’s license required.
• Current clean medical card required.
• Must meet DOT requirements.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant truck driving experience preferred.
• Experience completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ability to safely handle and secure loads.
• Strong attention to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
• Must be able to pass a background check upon offer.

• Flatbed driving experience strongly preferred.
• Stake bed truck experience preferred.
• Stable work history in commercial driving or local delivery.
• Experience delivering metal, aluminum, building materials, or similar industrial products.
