Job Overview
Manage and coordinate activities of workers in processing shipments, inventory, orders, and all needs of the assigned account.
Responsibilities- Lead and direct a warehouse team of 10+ employees.
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production workers or assembly line.
- Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information such as labels.
- Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Arrange product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Lead, motivate, and direct team efforts while informing the department supervisor of problems or potential issues that require immediate attention.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position is full‑time and on‑site.
