  • Pay: $80,000 year + Bonus Opportunity
  • Schedule:

    Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Purpose

As an Inventory Control and Returns Manager, you are a key team member in monitoring and maintaining the overall accuracy, reporting, and adequacy of Operating Company inventory and product returns. This role manages all aspects of inventory control, returns, and driver check‑ins, including managing the physical counting and necessary reporting processes. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to streamline inventory operations.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Supervises associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
  • Interpret and analyze numerical data and perform inventory control analysis, handle stock adjustments, and perform inventory and cycle counts.
  • Counts inventory materials and posts total inventory records.
  • Identifies root causes of variances between clerical computations and physical count of stock, and adjusts errors or investigates discrepancies.
  • Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
  • Reviews and investigates daily reports.
  • Maintains shrinkage at or below the company standard.
  • Creates and implements best practices and solutions to enhance inventory control and accuracy.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the check‑in and product return process.
  • Ensures accurate counts and item maintenance verification, and notification.
  • Communicates the returns process with vendors, customers, and manages employees involved in the returns process.
  • Reviews and inspects all forms, reports, and records relating to product returns.
  • Inspects and reconciles quantities on forms and documents and returns them to inventory.
  • Coordinates returns clerk activities with warehouse management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
  • Must be able to work the schedule/assigned times.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 3+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years of management/leadership experience.
  • Must be able to work the schedule/assigned times.
  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
  • 3+ years of management/leadership experience.
