Warehouse Worker; Packer

Summary:

The Warehouse Packer accurately and efficiently fulfills customer orders by reading order details, verifying items and quantities, and using an iPad for scanning and validation. Responsibilities include stacking products on pallets and securing them with straps and stretch wrap for transport. The role involves manual handling of products weighing 20–70 lbs and up to 20% forklift operation as needed.

Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 09:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM

This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $19 to $22 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $55,000 and $70,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.

• Manually pack tile and flooring products accurately
• Read and verify order details to confirm correct items and quantities
• Stack products on pallets and secure with straps and stretch wrap
• Handle products weighing 20 to 70 pounds
• Operate a forklift to move pallets as needed
• Use an iPad to scan and validate order information
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 10-hour shift, with possible extensions up to 12 hours during peak periods
• Perform additional duties as required or requested

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year of warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Proficient with tablets or iPads
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and perform well under pressure
